I'm still confused as to why anyone would vote for a 3on1 plan. I haven't heard one person, other than board members say they like this idea at all. That plan is nothing but a "If we are gonna suffer, everyone is gonna suffer" plan. Surely the people of Pound and Appalachia can see that no matter what route is taken, their high schools are gone, and the RIGHT plan must now be pushed for....

The original 3-on-3 is by far the best and most logical plan.

Only thing I can figure is that it is the Cheepist of the plans that involve building new schools and the BOS is not planning on opening up its purse any wider than is has to (That is ONLY a guess on my part)

No, the thing is that both Poun and Appy figure if they are going to be closed and no new school is forthcoming for them in their district, then nobody gets a new school. Their thoughts are as long as BSG and Kelly don't get new schools, then everything is fine.

It is still less than 10 mins to the 3-in-1 site for BSG or Wise. And we all know the county is broke.

but how petty and vindictive is it for people to only support that plan because they feel if they dont get a school no one should?

see how sad that sounds? its like a little child. if i dont get my way nobody does, and kicks the ball into the river.

So it is okay to close some schools, but not ask for the taxpayers to bear less of a burden to keep schools in 2 other towns? Hmmm, which is more petty?" I'm all for education as long as my school doesn't close." Hey those are almost EXACTLY the same statement.
